St Peters Main Bathroom Renovation – A Functional Space Elevated with Modern Simplicity
Located in the heart of St Peters, this main bathroom renovation brought new life to a tired interior through minimal design, refined finishes, and improved day-to-day functionality. Without changing the original layout, we focused on upgrading the space with clean lines, quality fixtures, and a brighter, more open feel—perfect for low-maintenance living in Inner West Sydney.
Sleek Fixtures & Clean Design
The bathroom now features a floor standing Oak vanity by Timberline with a Concrete above counter basin, offering both visual simplicity and practical storage.
A full-height mirrored cabinet was installed to reflect light and increase storage without adding bulk. Paired with soft white wall tiles and neutral-toned grout, the result is a calm, cohesive backdrop that enhances the sense of space.
Bright, Neutral Tones & Polished Details
The neutral colour palette was chosen to modernise the room without overwhelming it. Glossy ceramic tiles on the walls and matte-finish floor tiles in warm greys help reflect light and balance the space.
New champagne fixtures were installed throughout—including the tapware, towel rails, and shower fittings—for a timeless, low-maintenance finish that fits seamlessly into the contemporary look.
Existing Layout, Renewed Functionality
While the original layout remained unchanged, the bathroom feels brand new thanks to carefully selected upgrades. A frameless glass screen now defines the shower area, helping to keep the space visually open. The freestanding bathtub, retained from the original layout, now sits against a refreshed tile setting that brings cohesion and balance to the room.
Sound-Reducing UPVC Windows for City Living
To improve acoustic insulation, we replaced the existing window with a double-glazed UPVC unit—a major upgrade for homes in St Peters, which sits directly under Sydney’s flight path. These windows provide excellent noise control and thermal performance, creating a quieter, more comfortable bathroom environment.
The new window also brings in soft natural light while maintaining privacy and temperature stability year-round.
Everyday Practicality in Inner West Sydney
This bathroom renovation is a great example of how thoughtful upgrades can completely transform a space—without the need to rework plumbing or structure. The result is a functional, stylish, and low-fuss main bathroom that suits the modern Inner West lifestyle.
