Excited about re-designing our client’s much-loved terrace home in Erskineville, our client tasked us with bathroom renovations in Erskineville.

Our client loved their home, inner city location, and proximity to the cafes, dog parks,  and didn’t want to leave, they decided a complete renovation was the solution to meet their present and future needs. Because this Erskineville property has a total width of approximately 5 metres and sits on a one way street, it was a challenge for deliveries and removing demolition debris from the site. To overcome this challenge all rubbish was removed daily from site, which meant no skip bin or rubbish was present onsite.

Smart Storage Solutions & Bespoke Joinery

We focused on delivering a high level of functionality for this combined bathroom and laundry through bespoke custom joinery. To maximise every inch for functionality, we included smart storage solutions throughout the bathroom with floor to ceiling cupboards which allowed us to use every inch of the room. Our client was given an abundance of storage and the single tall cabinet was included to fit larger items such as brooms, vacuums etc as well as the inclusion of custom hanging rail and blackbutt timber shelves above the toilet.

The floor-to-ceiling tiling offers a luxurious finish, while the custom vanity unit and shaving cabinet featuring a blackbutt timber top becomes a focal point in the room.The client loved the idea of using gunmetal finishes instead of the traditional chrome finish, so we selected gunmetal tapware which looks amazing paired with the blackbutt timber benchtop and white tiles.

The beautiful skylight adds natural lighting to the bathroom, while we were able to block up an existing window to add additional storage. Attractive and useful, this skylight lets natural light inundate the space, generating a soothing atmosphere that resembles a haven within the Erskineville home.
